Job Summary:

Startech is seeking a Senior Technical Manager – Digital transformation to support the business growth The role will be responsible for identifying opportunities where digital technologies, data, automation, AI, analytics, and process transformation can create measurable business value by implementing ERP or any other work-flow solutions in the cloud environment.

The position will work closely with Sales, Delivery, Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and senior leadership to convert business challenges into scalable digital solutions and new revenue opportunities.

The role is designed to support a remote-first / hybrid working model, with the flexibility to work remotely while maintaining close collaboration with business leadership, functional teams, customers, and technology partners.

The candidate will be expected to effectively manage responsibilities across geographically distributed teams and use digital collaboration tools to ensure business continuity, productivity, and timely execution.

The candidate will be expected to act as a bridge between business strategy and technology, ensuring that digital initiatives are not technology projects alone, but directly contribute to revenue growth, cost optimization, productivity, customer retention, and competitive differentiation.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Project Management

· Lead end-to-end technology programs from initiation through implementation and closure.

· Develop project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, quality and stakeholder management.

· Establish milestones, deliverables, dependencies and governance mechanisms.

· Track program progress and ensure timely completion of critical deliverables.

· Identify project risks, issues and dependencies and develop appropriate mitigation plans.

· Act as the escalation point for major delivery issues and remove organizational and technical blockers.

· Provide regular management reporting on program status, risks, financials, KPIs and overall delivery health.


Process Transformation & Automation:

· Translate business requirements into technical delivery plans and actionable workstreams.

· Conduct process assessments across Sales, Delivery, Operations, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Support functions.

· Identify repetitive, manual, inefficient, or high-cost processes suitable for automation.

· Lead implementation of workflow automation, RPA, AI-based solutions, self-service platforms, and integrated business systems.

· Establish standardized and scalable processes across business units.

· Reduce process cycle time, errors, manual intervention, and operating costs.

· Develop process KPIs and dashboards to measure transformation impact.


Service Delivery & Operations:

· Ensure technology services meet agreed SLA, availability, quality and operational requirements.

· Establish and monitor operational processes for incident, problem, change and release management.

· Develop incident management and business continuity procedures.

· Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Ensure appropriate knowledge transfer and documentation.


Financial & Commercial Management

· Prepare and manage program/project budgets and financial plans.

· Monitor CAPEX/OPEX and project financial performance.

· Track resource costs and utilization.

· Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved operational efficiency.


Stakeholder & Customer Management

· Manage relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.

· Act as the primary delivery interface between business, technology and external partners.

· Conduct regular governance, operational and management reviews.

· Communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies and resolution plans.

· Manage escalations and ensure stakeholder expectations are effectively addressed.


Team Leadership

· Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams and consultants

· Manage resource allocation and workforce planning.

· Monitor team performance and delivery capacity.

· Coach and mentor project, Scrum and technical team members.

· Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning.


Compensation & Earning Potential

Compensation is a base salary plus an aggressive bonus/commission structure designed to reward results. For a high performer, total earnings can be substantial and are directly driven by the performance.

Base salary is fair and equitable, determined in part by education level and years of relevant experience. Please note there are no stock options; the company is closely held, private, and intends to remain so — the earning opportunity in this role comes through performance-based compensation.

Minimum Qualifying Criteria:

• Engineering degree in Telecom, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in technology project, program, delivery or service management.

• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, AWS and/or Azure.

• Experience managing multiple teams and cross-functional stakeholders, managing vendors, partners and customer stakeholders
